“If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, then you’re lucky enough….”

In accordance with this Irish saying, we are only 1/8 lucky.  Bobby is 1/2 Irish and the rest of us are English (so that is sort of close, right?)  My parents joined Bobby and me on a week-long tour of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and London.  Our first stops were the two largest cities in Ireland and Northern Ireland – Dublin and Belfast.  When people first think of Dublin, they think of Guinness (or at least that’s what I thought of).  Seeing as Bobby and I aren’t big beer drinkers, we decided to forgo the factory tour and instead, take a tour at the Old Jameson Distillery.  Whiskey is a little more Bobby’s style.  In Belfast, we had the pleasure of seeing the brand new Titanic Museum, which is very well done.  We were expecting rainy weather in Ireland since it’s springtime, but the luck of the Irish was with us, with the exception of an hour or two in Dublin…. [Read More]
